چکیده

Background: Inadequate seal at the apex is substantial cause for surgical endodontic dissatisfaction. The retrograde filling material which used should prevent egress of potential contaminants into periradicular tissue.
Objectives: To evaluate ability MTA Angelus, Zirconomer and Bioactive bone cement to root end as material; compare sealing these three different materials with apices resected 900 angles using dye penetration method under fluorescent microscope.
Methodology: Thirty six extracted upper anterior teeth are be cut horizontally CEJ. After following standard protocols of, “cleaning, shaping obturation” gutta percha “AH Plus sealer”, samples will 3mm apical 90 degree angle along long axis tooth help diamond disc. A cavity depth made Diamond coated ultrasonic tip S12 ND. randomly categorized in 3 groups: Group 1: angelus; 2: Zirconomer; 3: Bone Cement. Following roots nail varnish except tip. Each compressed small pluggers. All retrofilled kept acrydine orange a duration 24 hours, cleaning & bucco-lingual sectioning(vertical) done. Fluorescent microscope observation sectioned samples.
Expected Results: expected have better preparation minimal or no microleakage followed by Angelus then Zirconomer.
Conclusion: If this study proves correct, would helpful clinicians choose most efficient best aid success canal treatment further resolving infection.

In-vitro Sealing Ability of Calcium Enriched Mixture Cement Versus Amalgam as Retrograde Filling Materials

Introduction: Sealing ability of a retrograde filling material is an important factor for a successful endodontic apicoectomy. The purpose of this in-vitro study was to compare the sealing ability of calcium enriched mixture (CEM) cement versus amalgam as root-end filling materials. Methods: A total of 36 canals of extracted maxillary central incisors were instrumented and obturated using later...

Sealing ability, marginal adaptation and their correlation using three root-end filling materials as apical plugs

OBJECTIVE This study used dye leakage assay and scanning electron microscopy to evaluate, respectively, the sealing ability and marginal adaptation of three root-end filling materials used as apical plugs, as well as the possible correlation between these properties. MATERIAL AND METHODS Ninety-eight single-rooted human teeth were prepared to simulate an open apex. The teeth were allocated to...
